April was spent learning to weave on a Mirrix Loom I purchased way back in 2006. Talk about procrastination! That loom sat in its original packaging for 16 years. Good thing looms don't have an expiration date.

The Mirrix Loom is fabulous to work on and I learned a lot. The finished project is shown above. A 30" long necklace woven with size 11 beads. Very tedious. Now that the fear factor is gone, I feel empowered to take on a new weaving project... several are under consideration. However, it won't be a bead project this time. Instead, something soft with lots of texture.
