I am loving this cooler weather!

It is so invigorating to open our windows and let the fresh air in. We've had gentle rain on and off the last few days and my early morning walks are generally cool with a light breeze.

I love hearing the Great Horned Owls in our neighborhood hooting to each other, waking up the other birds, and seeing the bats coming home to roost after a night spent chasing and feasting on flying insects (thank you bats!).

Witnessing the dawn, the birth of a new day, is amazing!
