The move is over and now the unpacking begins. My studio is piled high with boxes and some days I feel a bit overwhelmed. Moving three times in three years will do that to a person. Our new home is set at the base of Black Mountain and is very peaceful. For once we have moved to a town where I actually know people and I am looking forward to spending time with friends, old and new.

My classroom at the Holland Center is just 5 minutes away. I am loving that fact! And several coffee cafes are right down the road. Bliss.

Did I mention the views? We have an unobstructed view of the Seven Sisters peaks and Elephant Butte off our back porch. We have been enjoying the sunsets and cooler evening temps while sitting outside watching the wildlife and stargazing. No street lights either- Hooray!
