It is my pleasure to be able to introduce to you, my friend and fellow artist, Bett York. Bett is a total delight and so is her artwork! I find her bold use of color and texture both whimsical and joyful.
Bett York started her teaching career after graduating from college with a degree in Art Education and taught in the public school system for 20 years. Today she enjoys many forms of art. In fact, every time she thinks she’s found a “happy medium” something else strikes her fancy!
Bett’s artful business successes range from the design and manufacturing of jewelry and clothing to juried exhibitions in art galleries across the country, including Hawaii. She currently owns B&B Embellishments, creating multi-media pieces of art and one-of-a-kind embellishments. Bett’s award-winning style has always received rave reviews and she will be teaching again this year at ART Unraveled 2010 , a week-long mixed media event in Phoenix, Arizona.
Locally, at Gallery 225 in Gilbert (AZ), you may experience Bett’s beautiful artwork yourself. On hand to delight you at the gallery are Rambunctious Ravens and Articulated Art Pieces (whimsical ladies, horses, jesters and birds). Sure to make you smile!
Bett’s original artwork is available for sale or consignment, or commission a special piece all your own! You may contact Bett via e-mail, Bett@5AcreArts.com.
